.DISCUSSION...

Another wave of scattered showers and thunderstorms will move
south to north late this afternoon through the early overnight
hours. This activity should peak in coverage and intensity between
1600 and 2000 local time. The primary hazards will be vivid cloud
to ground lightning, gusty winds, and torrential downpours
capable of localized flooding. Another wave of storms is expected
again on Saturday with similar hazards. Although daily rounds of
showers and thunderstorms continue through the weekend into early
week, declining moisture levels is expected reduce the occurrence
of heavier downpours and flooding potential.
