.DISCUSSION...

Upper level ridging will continue to bring hot and overall dry
conditions through Saturday, with high temperatures peaking on
Saturday before the ridge undergoes a breakdown. Winds will be
predominately terrain driven through Thursday; however, isolated
to scattered showers and thunderstorms tonight and on Thursday
could produce gusty and erratic outflow winds. Southwest to west
winds increase on Saturday as temperatures peak, with a 60%
chance for wind gusts to exceed 25 mph. A strong cold front
sweeping east Saturday night and into Sunday will bring a wind
shift to the northwest, with breezy and gusty northwest winds
persisting through the day on Sunday.
