.DISCUSSION...

Ridging aloft begins to build in for drier conditions and warming
temperatures for the next couple of days. There will be some
cloud builds over the higher terrain through this this evening and
again on Thursday afternoon. A southwesterly flow aloft then
begins to develop over the region this weekend while the ridge
axis becomes anchored over Eastern Montana. This will result in an
increase of widely scattered shower and thunderstorm activity,
especially in the afternoon and evening hours on Saturday. The
primary hazards will be localized strong wind gusts and lightning.
