.DISCUSSION...

Upper level high pressure remains in place across the Northern
Rockies for dry conditions through the next several days with
temperatures gradually warming back to above average levels by
Friday. Surface high pressure west of the continental divide and
lower pressure east of the Rockies will maintain gusty west winds
across the Rocky Mountian Front with strongest winds over exposed
ridgetops. Lighter winds than forecast are possible in sheltered
drainages with potential for higher gusts over nearby exposed
ridgetop locations.
