.DISCUSSION...
Upper level ridging over the Northern Rockies will continue to
flatten through the weekend, with several weak disturbance
rippling through the westerly flow aloft through Sunday. Main
impact from these disturbances will be an increase in upper level
cloud cover, but dry conditions will continue to persist. Critical fire
weather conditions will continue through the day on Saturday;
with poor moisture recovery tonight, and low relative humidity
values and gusty conditions occurring on Saturday. The probability
of wind gusts exceeding 30 mph on Saturday is at a 60% chance,
with even a 15% chance that gusts exceed 40 mph.
