.DISCUSSION...

Strong winds are expected over the next 36 hours or so ahead of a
cold front that will push into the area tomorrow night. For the
rest of today, expect winds to gust to continue to increase
through the afternoon, with winds reaching 35-45 mph with gusts in
excess of 60 mph by 1600 today. Winds will remain strong through
midnight or so before gradually tapering off early tomorrow
morning, though winds will still be gusting to around 45 mph
through noon on Friday. Winds will continue to decrease through
the afternoon and evening on Friday, before the arrival of a cold
front around midnight Friday night. Expect dry conditions through
the next 48 hours with only a 20% chance of a very light snow
shower after midnight Friday night, but no accumulation is
expected.
