.DISCUSSION...

Upper level disturbance moving over the Northern Rockies through
the day today will provide additional opportunities for showers
and thunderstorms at/near the incident area. Abundant Pacific
moisture wrapping around the disturbance will help to support
higher relative humidity values during the daylight hours as
compared to the previous days, with good moisture recovery
expected during the overnight hours tonight. Showers and
thunderstorms through the evening hours tonight will be capable of
producing moderate to locally heavy rainfall, with the probability
for seeing 0.5" of rainfall through midnight tonight being a 30%
chance. A few of the thunderstorms between 1100 and 2100 local
time today could become strong and produce strong and erratic
wind gusts in excess of 55 mph.
