.DISCUSSION...
Increasing westerly winds aloft will translate to the surface from
the mid-morning through evening hours tonight, with frequent wind
gusts in excess of 30 mph across most fire weather zones and
gusts approaching 40 mph west of I-15 corridor along the Rocky
Mountain Front. High temperatures will once again climb some 5 to
nearly 10 degrees above normal, with critically low relative
humidity values this afternoon. By this evening a cold front will
begin to advance south from Canada, with this front advancing as
far south as the Montana Hwy 200 corridor through Thursday
morning. Cooler temperatures and lighter winds can be expected in
wake of the front for the day on Thursday, with continued gusty
southwest winds and above normal temperatures ahead of the front in
Southwest and portions of Central Montana. - Moldan
