Fire Weather Planning Forecast for North-Central Montana
National Weather Service Great Falls MT
337 AM MDT Sun Jun 29 2025

.DISCUSSION...

A northwesterly flow aloft will remain over the Northern Rockies
over the next 24 hours before an upper level ridge builds in and
brings a period of summer heat for the upcoming workweek. Periods
of variable cloudiness and seasonably warm temperatures are
expected today with decreased shower and thunderstorm activity for
the next couple of days. Afternoon relative humidity values will
fall to critically low levels Monday through Wednesday. Daily
rounds of showers and thunderstorms return by Wednesday evening
and continue for the remainder of the week.
