274 FNUS55 KTFX 181917 FWFTFX Fire Weather Planning Forecast for North-Central Montana National Weather Service Great Falls MT 117 PM MDT Mon Aug 18 2025 .DISCUSSION... Scattered showers and thunderstorms move northeastward from southwest Montana toward Central Montana this afternoon and evening. Gusty winds and lightning are the main concern with thunderstorms today. Temperatures trend warmer for the Tuesday and Wednesday timeframe, with afternoon humidity looking lowest Tuesday. Although not likely, a shower or thunderstorm cannot be ruled out over this timeframe. A cold front arriving Wednesday night looks to bring cooler temperatures for Thursday and Friday. There is still some uncertainty as to the strength of the front as well as the winds that linger in wake of the front on Thursday during the day. -AM MTZ112-191015- Eastern Glacier/Toole/Central/Eastern Pondera/Liberty- 117 PM MDT Mon Aug 18 2025 .TONIGHT... * Sky/Weather...........Mostly clear. * Chance Lightning.......0 percent. * Min Temperature.......53-59. 24 hr trend......7 degrees up. * Max Humidity..........58-68 percent. 24 hr trend......4 percent down...9 percent down higher elevations. * Wind (20 FT).
