...FIRE WEATHER WATCH IN EFFECT FROM SATURDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH
SUNDAY EVENING...
.DISCUSSION...
Hot conditions, with the hottest temperatures occurring on
Saturday, will continue as upper level ridging remains in place.
Overall dry conditions can be expected beneath the ridge; however,
and isolated shower or storm producing gusty and erratic outflow
can`t be ruled out. By Saturday evening the upper level ridge will
be broken down, with a dry, cold front sweeping east across the
Northern Rockies. Strong winds will accompany the front Saturday
night and into the day on Sunday, especially along the Rocky
Mountain Front. This ridge breakdown will bring elevated to
critical fire weather conditions to all Fire Weather Zones. -
