.DISCUSSION...

There is a chance for afternoon showers and thunderstorms, primarily
south of Highway 200. The main concerns will be lightning and gusty,
erratic winds. More widespread precipitation is expected Friday into
Saturday with locations along the Rocky Mountain Front and island
mountain ranges of central Montana receiving 0.50-0.75" and locations
along the plains and Hi-Line receiving 0.25-0.50". Cooler temperatures
will persist through the weekend with a slow warming trend expected
early next week.
