975 FNUS55 KTFX 020919 FWFTFX Fire Weather Planning Forecast for North-Central Montana National Weather Service Great Falls MT 319 AM MDT Sat Aug 2 2025 .DISCUSSION... A low along the Canadian border will maintain scattered showers and thunderstorms again today, most numerous along the Rocky Mountain Front and the Hi-Line. Although instability will be less than the last couple of days, the stronger cells may still produce brief heavy downpours, gusty winds, and small hail in addition to lightning. More daily rounds of showers and thunderstorms are expected heading into next week, but the strongest and most widespread activity is expected Monday into Tuesday. Temperatures generally remain near average for next several days.
