...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT CENTRAL SARASOTA COUNTY THROUGH
430 PM EDT...

At 401 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Myakka River State Park, or 14 miles northwest of North Port, moving
north at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Gulf Gate Estates, Osprey, Gator Creek Estate, Myakka River State
Park, Vamo, Laurel, Oscar Scherer State Park, Lake Sarasota, Nokomis,
Venice Gardens, Bee Ridge, South Gate Ridge, and South Venice.
