At 108 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 8 miles west of North Port to near Port
Charlotte. Movement was northwest at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.
