* Special Marine Warning for...
  Coastal waters from Englewood to Tarpon Springs FL out 20 NM...
  Tampa Bay waters...

* Until 615 PM EDT.

* At 525 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from near Longboat Pass to near Tampa Bay. The strong
  thunderstorms were nearly stationary.

  HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Expect wind gusts in excess of 34 knots, suddenly higher
           waves, frequent lightning, and heavy downpours. Make sure
           all on board are wearing life jackets.

* Locations impacted include...
  Terra Ceia Bay, Manatee 3 Mile North Reef, Manatee Nearshore Reef,
  Manatee 7 Mile South Reef, Egmont Key, Longboat Key, Cockroach Bay,
  Sunshine Skyway Bridge, Anna Maria Island, Pass-A-Grille Channel,
  Southwest Channel, Sarasota Bay, Port Manatee Reef, Tampa Bay,
  Manatee 1 Mile Reef, Manatee 3 Mile South Reef, Manatee 7 Mile
  North Reef, Sarasota Bay Reef, Passage Key Inlet, and Longboat
  Pass.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move to safe harbor immediately as gusty winds and high waves are
expected.

Frequent lightning is occurring with these storms. If caught on the
open water stay below deck if possible, keep away from ungrounded
metal objects.
