...HEAT ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM NOON TODAY TO 7 PM EDT THIS
EVENING...

.DISCUSSION...

Light onshore (WNW) winds that may become variable at times this
morning increase to 5 to 10 mph in the afternoon, then become
light again late this evening. Mostly dry conditions this
morning, then a few showers and lightning storms may develop in
the afternoon (chances 20-30%). Most of this activity should push
inland of the burn site by 4 PM, but a low (20% or less) rain and
storm chance will linger into the evening, then dry again
overnight. No min RH concerns. Fair afternoon smoke dispersion is
forecast. A Heat Advisory has been issued and will be in effect
from noon until 7 PM for peak afternoon heat indices up to 109.
