Gulf coastal waters from Bonita Beach to the mouth of the
Suwannee River out to 60 NM.

Important notice to mariners...marine forecasts are issued at
least four times a day. Boaters on extended trips should
routinely monitor subsequent forecast issuances and updates for
the latest marine weather information.

The wave heights are forecast as significant wave height which is
the average of the highest one-third of the waves. The highest
waves may rarely be twice the significant wave height. The winds
and seas near thunderstorms may be higher than forecast.

Synopsis for the coastal waters from Bonita Beach to Suwannee River-
913 AM EST Sun Feb 23 2025

.SYNOPSIS...
High pressure will move out into the western Atlantic Ocean with
east to northeast winds continuing today, except for a shift to
onshore this afternoon. An area of low pressure will move east
across the gulf and approach the Florida peninsula tonight into
Monday with showers and a few thunderstorms developing across the
region. East to southeast winds will increase some tonight and
Monday, but remain below headline criteria. As the system moves
off to the east, drier air will move in by Tuesday with deceasing
seas and winds through midweek as high pressure moves into the
area.
