The wave heights are forecast as significant wave height which is the average of the highest one-third of the waves. The highest waves may rarely be twice the significant wave height. Hazardous marine conditions expected the next couple of days as a frontal line moves over the area. Today elevated winds and a line of showers and storms will keep marine conditions poor. An elevated risk of rip currents will continue through Wednesday morning.
