.DISCUSSION...
Issued at 240 PM EST Tue Nov 26 2024

A ridge is currently sitting right overhead bringing us quiet
weather and clear skies. This ridge will start to shift out into the
Atlantic on Thanksgiving as our next frontal system start to push
through the southeast. This will result in Thanksgiving being the
warmest day we have seen in about a week with most of us getting
into the lower 80`s.

The front will push through early on Friday with a noticeable change
in temperatures and winds. Highs on Friday will probably be in the
early afternoon as temperatures either stay steady or slowly drop
behind it. This will make for a comfortable but cooler Saturday with
lows in the 40`s and 50`s and highs in the upper 60`s and low 70`s.
Another reinforcing cold front will push through Sunday afternoon
and will usher in the colder air we have see so far this season.

Early next week lows will be stuck around 40 degrees for both Monday
and Tuesday. Tuesday looks to be the coldest morning with lows
getting into the mid 30`s across the Nature Coast. However plenty of
sunshine in the afternoon will help to bring temperatures in the
60`s by the afternoon.

.AVIATION...
(18Z TAFS)
Issued at 240 PM EST Tue Nov 26 2024

VFR conditions expected for most of the period. Patchy fog is
possible tomorrow morning but chances are too low at most
terminals to add it in the forecast for now. The one exception is
LAL where a TEMPO line was added for IFR VIS. Winds will generally
stay below 10 knots through the period.

.MARINE...
Issued at 240 PM EST Tue Nov 26 2024

Ridging overhead will keep winds generally below 10 knots
through Thanksgiving. A cold front that will push during the day on
Friday will shift winds to our north and increase them to 15 to 20
knots by Friday night. These gustier winds out of the north and
northeast around 15 to 20 will be sticking around through early next
week.

.FIRE WEATHER...
Issued at 240 PM EST Tue Nov 26 2024

Ridging overhead will keep winds light through Thanksgiving
giving us lower dispersions through the afternoon and evening hours
but rising humidity will keep fire dangers at a minimum. A front
will push through on Friday with another front on Sunday. This will
drop RHs leading to critical RHs across the Nature Coast for both
Sunday and Monday.
