...New UPDATE, AVIATION...

.UPDATE...
Issued at 832 PM EDT Fri Aug 1 2025

High pressure remains in place over the state of Florida, allowing
for southwesterly to westerly flow to continue across the region.
Most of the activity from today in West Central Florida has already
collapsed, and any residual action should quiet down after sunset.

For Saturday, similar conditions to today can be expected. With
the westerly flow, showers and thunderstorms should form off the
state`s west coast and move onshore during early to mid afternoon,
before tracking over inland areas during later afternoon into the
evening. More moisture should once again be present south of
Tampa Bay, with PW values climbing above 2 inches. High
temperatures are expected to remain around the mid 90s, with lows
in the mid 70s.
