.THE SURF ZONE FORECAST GENERAL OUTLOOK...

Generally light west to southwest winds this afternoon and 1 foot surf
will yield a moderate risk of rip currents today. Winds increase
Friday behind a cold front, leading to some building surf and
increasing rip current risk, especially for Bay and Gulf County. Winds
subside Sunday into early next week with an easing in the rip current
risk again.
