A high risk of rip currents is in effect for the Walton, Bay, South-facing Gulf, and Franklin County beaches through tonight given onshore component of 6-7 second period southeast swell leading to surf heights of 2 to 4 feet, highest in along the Franklin County beaches. The high risk may linger at Franklin County beaches into Monday or Tuesday.
