879 FZUS52 KTAE 310909 SRFTAE Surf Zone Forecast National Weather Service Tallahassee FL 409 AM EST Fri Jan 31 2025 .THE SURF ZONE FORECAST GENERAL OUTLOOK... A long fetch of south to southeast breezes across the eastern Gulf will support swell that will bring a high risk of rip currents to all beaches today. Despite a turn to northerly breezes late tonight and early Saturday, it will take until Sunday for the southerly swell to decrease enough and for the rip current risk to start the process of lowering. By Monday and Tuesday, light and gentle breezes across the northeast Gulf will keep will hold the rip current risk in the moderate category.
