.THE SURF ZONE FORECAST GENERAL OUTLOOK...

As high pressure settles across the northern Gulf over the next few
days, surf heights will decrease to around 1 foot. Consulting with
local authorities, west-facing and State park beaches in Gulf County
are flying red flags. A high risk for rip currents exists in these
locations for this afternoon. A moderate risk of rip currents will
exist at all other beaches today and Thursday. A gradual warmup is
expected with highs at the coast in the upper 60s with lower 70s for
Thursday.

Based on communication with area beach officials, the following flags
are flying at area beaches:

State Park Gulf Beaches.......Red
West Facing Gulf Beaches......Red
South Facing Gulf Beaches.....Yellow
