St George Island State Park and Walton County beaches are flying single red flags this morning with webcams showing rough surf. There is a high risk of rip currents today along Walton and Franklin County beaches. Strong easterly winds will continue to promote rough surf and the potential for rip currents along east-facing beaches today and through the weekend. This will result in a continued moderate to high rip current risk through at least Sunday.
