.THE SURF ZONE FORECAST GENERAL OUTLOOK...

Generally light winds and 1 to 2 foot surf will result in a moderate
rip current risk along the beaches today. As an area of low pressure
moves to our west Thursday and Friday, onshore winds will increase,
kicking the surf up to 2 to 4 feet along the beaches. This will result
in a couple days of a high rip current risk through the end of the
week, potentially lasting into the weekend.

Based on communication with area beach officials, the following flags
are flying at area beaches:

State Park Gulf Beaches.......YELLOW
West Facing Gulf Beaches......YELLOW
South Facing Gulf Beaches.....YELLOW
