A high risk of rip currents is in effect for the Franklin County beaches through Sunday night due to continued easterly swell and wave heights of 2 to 4 feet. As wave heights build offshore, there is expected to be sufficient onshore component of swell along the Bay, South-facing Gulf, and Walton County beaches for a high risk of rip currents on Saturday.
