.THE SURF ZONE FORECAST GENERAL OUTLOOK...

Another day of elevated surf of 2-4 feet leading to a high risk for
rip currents for Bay and Gulf County beaches. Conditions are improving
along the Walton and Franklin County beaches, and have maintained a
moderate risk for those beaches today. Northwest winds will be breezy
around 15-20 mph, but will be decreasing through the day. Over the
weekend, winds will become more northerly with surf heights decreasing
to about 1 foot.

Based on communication with area beach officials, the following flags
are flying at area beaches:

State Park Gulf Beaches.......Double Red
West Facing Gulf Beaches......Double Red
South Facing Gulf Beaches.....Double Red
