NORTHEASTERN MITCHELL AND NORTHEASTERN BAKER COUNTIES THROUGH 845 PM
EDT...

At 753 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Baconton, or 9 miles southwest of Putney, moving north at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Newton, Putney, Albany, Camilla, Baconton, Marine Corps Logistics
Base, East Albany, Flint, Radium Springs, Red Store Crossroads,
Lockett Crossing, South Albany, Southwest Ga Regional A/P, Pecan
City, Freeman, Williamsburg, and Greenough.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
