THROUGH 800 PM EDT...
At 709 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Leary, or 10 miles east of Morgan, moving northeast at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Putney, Albany, Leary, East Albany, Turner City, Marine Corps
Logistics Base, Walker, Radium Springs, Milford, Red Store
Crossroads, Forrester, Lockett Crossing, South Albany, Southwest Ga
Regional A/P, Palmyra, Century, Holt, Ducker, Bermuda, and
Williamsburg.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
