...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHERN LOWNDES AND
SOUTHEASTERN BROOKS COUNTIES THROUGH 815 PM EDT...

At 734 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8
miles east of Quitman, moving east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Lake Park, Valdosta, I-75 At Exit 16, Remerton, Dasher, I-75 At Exit
5, Twin Lakes, Clyattville, Blue Springs, I-75 At Exit 11, Valdosta
Regional Airport, and Kinderlou.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
