The National Weather Service in Tallahassee has issued a

* Special Marine Warning for...
  Coastal Waters From  Ochlockonee River to Apalachicola FL out to 20
  Nm...
  Coastal Waters from Mexico Beach to Apalachicola out 20 NM...

* Until 130 AM EDT/1230 AM CDT/.

* At 1248 AM EDT/1148 PM CDT/, strong thunderstorms were located
  along a line extending from 12 nm east of Apalachicola to 6 nm
  south of St George Island, moving west at 20 knots.

  HAZARD...Wind gusts to 40 knots and small hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect wind gusts in excess of 34 knots...suddenly higher
           waves...frequent lightning...and heavy downpours. Make
           sure all on board are wearing life jackets.

* Locations impacted include...
  Cape San Blas, Apalachicola, and Port St. Joe.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move to safe harbor immediately as gusty winds and high waves are
expected.

Frequent lightning is occurring with these storms. If caught on the
open water stay below deck if possible, keep away from ungrounded
metal objects.
