...NWS Tallahassee Storm Surge Survey...

NWS Tallahassee meteorologists have left to survey storm surge
from Hurricane Helene. They will be surveying along the coast
starting in Taylor County and work their way west along the coast
throughout the day.

An expert team of NWS meteorologists are on their way to survey
storm surge damage in Levy County in Tampa`s area before heading
north along the coast into Dixie County in the coming day or two.

Additional surveys are planned again Thursday, October 3rd and may
be necessary on Friday, October 4th depending on the progress of
the surveys today and tomorrow.
