Please contact our office at (850) 942-8833, if you have questions or concerns with this forecast. ...HEAT ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM THIS MORNING TO 8 PM EDT THIS EVENING... .DISCUSSION...Today will feature well above normal temperatures and very muggy conditions, leading to dangerously high heat index values near 110 degrees this afternoon. Northerly flow aloft today will pin the seabreeze fairly close to the coast. With the burn site being close to the coast, this means that afternoon thunderstorms could very well form directly on top of the burn, so keep an eye to the sky for building clouds. On Wednesday, the heat index could be even hotter, possibly exceeding 115 degrees. After the worst of Wednesday afternoon heat, the chance of thunderstorms revs up. Thunderstorms on Wednesday will be particularly prone to strong, possibly damaging gusty winds. There is a Marginal Risk of severe thunderstorms on Wednesday. .REST OF TODAY...
