.DISCUSSION...
Gusty northeasterly winds have begun with area surface
observations showing northeast winds of 10-15 mph with gusts up to
25 mph which will persist into the early evening hours. Winds
overnight will remain from the northeast around 10-15 mph before
increasing once again early Friday morning. Isolated showers and
thunderstorms are developing through the panhandle and western Big
Bend through early evening moving southwesterly with brief bouts
of rain and gusty/erratic winds in and around thunderstorms.

                    showers and thunderstorms early in the
