  Withlacoochee River above Valdosta (Skipper Bridge Rd) affecting
  Lowndes and Brooks Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Withlacoochee River above Valdosta (Skipper Bridge Rd).

* WHEN...From Wednesday afternoon to early Thursday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 135.0 feet, Minor flooding begins. Langdale Park
  floods.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:30 AM EDT Tuesday the stage was 133.9 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 135.0
    feet early tomorrow afternoon. It will then fall below flood
    stage early Thursday morning.
  - Flood stage is 135.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    135.0 feet on 03/21/1995.
