Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

  - At 8:45 AM EDT Thursday the stage was 53.6 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 8:45 AM EDT Thursday was 53.7 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    Sunday morning and continue falling to 52.5 feet Tuesday
    morning.
  - Flood stage is 53.0 feet.
