...FLOOD ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM EDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...A portion of Big Bend Florida, including the following
  county, Leon.

* WHEN...Until 800 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is
  imminent.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 647 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain
    have fallen.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Tallahassee, Florida A and M, Southwood, Tom Brown Park,
    Indian Head Acres, Governors Square Mall, Apalachee Ridge
    Estates, Jack McLean Park, Gene Cox Stadium, J R Alford
    Greenway, South City, North Florida Fairgrounds, Cascades
    Park, Apalachee Regional Park, All Saints District, Walker
    Ford Community Center, Bragg Stadium, Gaither Community
    Center, Springsax Park and Providence Neighborhood.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
