Synopsis for the Suwannee River to Okaloosa-Walton county Line
out to 60 nm
755 PM EDT Fri Oct 4 2024

.SYNOPSIS...

East to northeast winds will continue through the weekend and into
next week. Cautionary conditions are expected the rest of tonight
and will linger through the weekend. Advisory-level winds are
forecast to begin Sunday night and linger into the first half of
next week. A cold front will sink into the northern Gulf early
next week while an area of low pressure develops over the southern
Gulf, creating a tightening pressure gradient. This area of low
pressure now has a high 70% chance of developing into a tropical
or subtropical depression by early next week. Seas will also
build to 3 to 6 feet over the next several days. Scattered showers
and storms are expected into the early part of the week over the
Gulf waters.
