Synopsis for the Suwannee River to Okaloosa-Walton county Line
out to 60 nm
856 PM EDT Sat Aug 9 2025

.SYNOPSIS...

Continued easterly flow this weekend with a frontal boundary south
of the waters. As the frontal boundary lifts north of the waters on
Monday, the flow will clock around to southerly into Tuesday, then
to more southwesterly Wednesday and Thursday. With a weak pressure
gradient in place, winds will tend to maximize near the coast in
the seabreeze zone during the afternoon and evening hours. Showers
and thunderstorms will be most widespread between Sunday and
Tuesday, with waterspouts possible. Briefly higher winds and seas
are likely in the vicinity of any thunderstorms. Best coverage of
showers and storms will likely be in the morning hours.
