Strongest winds along the Sierra and adjacent foothills through the evening. * Humidity...Minimum daytime relative humidity of 5 to 20 percent. * Highest Threat...Gusty downslope winds along the Sierra and into the adjacent foothills persist into this evening. * Impacts...The combination of gusty wind and low humidity can cause new fire starts and ongoing wildfires to rapidly grow in size and intensity.
