Strongest winds expected today in the Central Valley and Delta and tonight in the foothills. * Humidity...Minimum daytime relative humidity of 5 to 20 percent. Moderate to poor overnight RH recoveries of 25 to 50 percent. * Highest Threat...West half of the Sacramento Valley and Delta area, and favorably oriented canyons in the foothills. * Impacts...The combination of gusty wind and low humidity can cause new fire starts and ongoing wildfires to rapidly grow in size and intensity.
