...HEAT ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM FRIDAY TO 11 PM PDT SATURDAY...

* WHAT...High temperatures 95 to 106 expected. Overnight low
  temperatures in the mid 60s to 70s. Widespread Moderate HeatRisk
  with areas of Major  HeatRisk.

* WHERE...Carquinez Strait and Delta, Mountains Southwestern Shasta
  County to Western Colusa County, Shasta Lake Area / Northern
  Shasta County, Sacramento Valley and Northern San Joaquin Valley.

* WHEN...From 11 AM Friday to 11 PM PDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during
  heat events, particularly for those working or participating in
  outdoor activities.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.

Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose
fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning
or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and
heat stroke.
