...Slight chance of thunderstorms on Saturday and Sunday,
including Saturday night, in the vicinity of Shasta County...

.DISCUSSION...

Near to below normal temperatures continue tomorrow at the Green
Fire. A weather system moving through the area tomorrow will
introduce around a 15-35% chance of showers and thunderstorms
from tomorrow afternoon/evening into the overnight and through Sunday.
Best timing on arrival of the initial wave of precipitation looks
to be around 6pm tomorrow, then isolated storms thereafter. Storms do
look to be wet, however lightning strikes outside a storm`s core
could lead to possible fire starts. Gusty, erratic winds, small hail,
and brief heavy rain will be the other concerns. Winds tomorrow
will be from the west below 15 mph, then as the weather system arrives,
winds will shift from the south. Sunday t-storm chances are around 10% in
the morning and afternoon hours. A gradual warming and drying trend is
favored for next week.
