.DISCUSSION...
A weather system is moving into the region this morning, with
widespread rain expected to develop at the firework site later
this evening. Not expecting heavy rain tonight, as the heavier
precipitation is forecast tomorrow afternoon. Some sleet may mix
in with the rain tonight, however not expecting any ice or sleet
accumulations to hinder firework launch. Winds should be from the
south and remain around 3 to 6 mph, an occasional gust up to 10 mph
possible. Upper slope south winds up to 15 mph, with the stronger winds
tomorrow morning. Overall, looks like a soggy, cool night to bring
in the New Year.
