.DISCUSSION...
Mostly sunny with dry conditions as diurnal wind pattern takes over
the weather pattern later this week. Daytime humidity values will be
in the mid to low teens on Friday, with slight improvements into the
upper teens - low 20s Saturday. High pressure is forecast to develop
offshore, locking in the dry and hot conditions later this week. Winds
at the surface should remain below the 10 mph sustained threshold in
the morning and early afternoon, with Southwest winds around noon. South
to west winds in the evening may allow for smoke drift into Colfax, then
during night with lower mixing heights and light/almost stagnant winds
could create haze/smoky conditions in the town.
