.DISCUSSION...
Slightly cooler temperatures on Tuesday with an increase in wind speeds
and gusts in the forecast. Nearby RAWS station Denten Creek observed low
RH values in the lower teens and temps above 80 on Monday, these conditions
are expected to improve but winds are forecast to gust up around 20 to
25 mph on Tuesday; with gusts of 25 to 30 mph on Wednesday. A weak wave
of energy is forecast to move through portions of the Pacific NW
Wednesday, which will introduce a slight chance (10%) of an afternoon/
evening shower and thunderstorm. Recent forecast runs have slightly
lowered the chances, however the best chances for precipitation remain
north of the burn site.

Conditions are expected to improve Thursday and Friday, with high
pressure building in the Pacific. Return to mostly diurnal/terrain
driven winds and daytime humidity values in the mid to upper 20s,
and high temperatures in the low 70s are forecast Thursday through
Saturday morning.
