.DISCUSSION...
Hot and dry conditions are expected to continue through Sunday,
then high temperatures gradually trend lower through the week. A
Heat Advisory remains in effect through 10pm Sunday, due to triple
digit highs and little overnight temperature relief. Winds Sunday
start light from the east then shift to the southwest in the
afternoon up to 5 mph, with gusts to 12 mph, then steadily
decrease in the evening, becoming light downslope/downcanyon
overnight. A similar trend in the winds is expected for Monday.
Overnight humidity recovery tonight and Monday night will be poor,
around 40 percent, with day-time humidity dropping into the upper
teens by late afternoon.
