...RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM THIS MORNING TO 11 AM
PDT MONDAY DUE TO GUSTY WINDS AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR
PORTIONS OF THE SACRAMENTO VALLEY AND NORTHERN FOOTHILLS...
Breezy west to south winds will increase late this morning and
afternoon, followed by north to east winds and dry conditions this
evening and continue into early next week. Due to these gusty
winds near 20 to 35 MPH and low humidities, a Red Flag Warning
is in effect from 11am PDT this morning through 11am PDT Monday
for portions of the Sacramento Valley and northern foothills.
Locations outside of the warned area, such as along the Sierra
crest, will see periodically elevated fire weather conditions as
well, but should remain below critical conditions. Gradual cooling
through this weekend, with below normal temperatures on Sunday.
